About

This tool is a helper/companion for anyone preparing a submission to Australia's National Cultural Policy consultation. It exists to help create structured, evidence-grounded contributions and act as a starting point for brainstorming submissions.

Why this exists

The Australian Government is consulting on the next National Cultural Policy. The consultation paper is organised around five pillars:

  1. First Nations First
  2. A Place for Every Story
  3. Centrality of the Artist
  4. Strong Cultural Infrastructure
  5. Engaging the Audience

Many submissions to public consultations are passionate and well-meaning, but hard for policy teams to use. This tool helps shape that energy into a clear submission, through a conversational AI agent. It is not a submission generator.

How it works

Have a conversation with the agent about the part of the policy you care about. The conversation stays in your browser. When the full intelligence layer ships, a Shape my submission step will turn the conversation into a polished, government-ready PDF you can review, edit and submit.

Privacy in one line

Your conversation is stored in your browser only — never on a server. See the Privacy and ethics page (linked from the footer of the chat) for the full detail.

Open source

The whole tool — including the system prompts and source documents that shape the agent — is open. You can read the code, run it yourself, or fork it.
